The Cowichan Performing Arts Center is getting back up and running for its new season with a busy schedule for the month of October.

It all starts on Thursday October 5 with the Ballet Victoria performance Ballet rocks.

From 7:30 p.m., the show promises “a thrilling and electrifying program that pays tribute to some of the greatest rock and roll groups of our time. Unexpected and mix of genres, Ballet rocks combines iconic rock anthems with contemporary ballet styles for an innovative dance experience.

The following night ABRA Cadabra – Thanks for the music takes the stage at 7:30 p.m. on October 6.

The event is part of BC Culture Days. All donations will be made to the Cowichan Intercultural Society. You must always book a ticket for the show in person or by phone. Places on the day of the show are subject to availability.

Oktopus is made up of eight musicians who “put on a festive and wild show, both deeply melancholy and full of humor and history. The last show of the month is part of the Reel Alternatives film series on October 30 at 7 p.m.
