The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) has invited potential applicants to submit preliminary information on projects to be included in its regional project called Energy Investment. The USAID project aims to support technically, commercially and environmentally sustainable projects and help find investors or financial institutions to finance them.
The purpose of the invitation issued by USAID is to review potential projects for pre-feasibility and feasibility studies, while projects for further evaluation will be selected through a public call for applications. The first information must be sent to EnergyinvestmentDIR@bv.com or Energyinvest@bv.com before February 10, 2023.

The regional Energy Investment project, including launch in Serbia celebrated in October, will focus on improving the profitability of environmentally friendly production, transportation and distribution of heat and electricity, district heating systems, water supply systems and sanitation, as well as energy efficiency of residential and commercial buildings, according to the invitation.
USAID has set aside $20 million for the project.

Support will be provided to projects in Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Georgia, Greenland, Kosovo*, Moldova, North Macedonia and Serbia, and possibly other countries in the region where such projects could benefit the listed beneficiary countries. and territories, directly or indirectly, USAID said.
