Balkan news agencies in Kosovo discuss COVID and investment opportunities in Kosovo

The work of the 29th Congress of the General Assembly of the Alliance of Balkan Agencies (ABNA) began with the screening of a documentary about the life and work of the journalist and director of the Bulgarian news agency BTA, which was also its general secretary. from the press agency of the World Congress of Bulgaria, Maxim Minchev.

The owner of the KosovaPress news agency, Skënder Krasniqi, today inaugurated the works taking place in Prishtina and paid tribute to his and the agency’s friend Maxim Minchev.

Krasniqi: We discuss COVID and the possibility of investing in Kosovo

“In the first panel we will discuss the COVID-19 situation in general, while in the second panel we will have institutions from Kosovo who will talk in part, both about tourism and opportunities to visit and invest in Kosovo. While in the third panel we will talk about what will happen after COVID ends, how we should respond, because in this situation the impact of COVID, as we have seen so far, may change our work policies, our engagement, whether online or through other forms. , Krasniqi said.

“Media and news agencies in the post-Covid era” is the theme of this year’s ABNA assembly, which is being held in Kosovo under the organization of the KosovaPress news agency.

Agencies from the 12 Balkan countries are staying in Kosovo, where they will discuss the pandemic and its impact on media work.

Their reception took place yesterday during an event at the Kosovo Museum, where participants were able to learn about the country’s history up close.

KosovaPress has been part of ABNA since 2017. The goal remains membership in the European Alliance of News Agencies EANA.
