Announcements of upcoming events
From April 3 to 5, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry will host an exhibition of the commercial complex of Turkmenistan.
On April 12, in Ashgabat, a business meeting will be held on the topic “Effective implementation of international experience in the affairs of Turkmenistan”.
From April 11 to 13, Greece will host the FRESKON World Fruit and Vegetable Exhibition, to which representatives of the business community of Turkmenistan are invited.
International cooperation
Turkmenistan and Iran plan to intensify trade and economic cooperation by organizing exhibitions and business forums. This was stated during a meeting between the National Leader of the Turkmen People Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian.
At the Turkmen-Japanese business forum in Tokyo, representatives of the two countries discussed the possibility of opening a trade mission from Turkmenistan to Japan and also considered the issue of opening a JETRO representative office in Ashgabat.
Afghanistan has expressed its desire to hold another product exhibition in Turkmenistan due to the success of Afghan manufacturers at the exhibition held March 4-6 in Ashgabat, where important contracts were signed between the parties.
Industry
The state enterprise “Turkmenhimiya” announced an international tender for the development of a feasibility study (TES) with the aim of developing new deposits of iodine and bromine waters located in the Balkan velayat of Turkmenistan.
Finance and economics
The state’s share in the authorized capital of the closed joint stock company Sanly ykdysadyýet innovasion merkezi will be privatized in order to improve the efficiency of management of state property.
Transport and logistics
The Association of Automotive Schools and the Public Association “International Road Transport Association of Turkmenistan” will open an IRU-accredited training center to train highly qualified specialists in the field of road transport.
The Balkan Shipbuilding and Repair Plant in Turkmenistan will start assembling the CSD 650 dredger of the Dutch Damen Shipyards Group under the supervision of the company’s engineers.

During its 10 years of operation, the National Barcode Organization of Turkmenistan has issued more than 76,000 barcodes. NOTSHK has fully covered the automatic identification system of Turkmen producers, which is a reliable guarantee for their entry into world markets.
