A total of 38 operators have committed to introducing maximum retail price caps of 18 euros ($19.9) per gigabyte from October 2023, 14 euros from 2026 and 9 euros from 2028 for two-way data usage between the EU and the Western Balkans, EU. the leader said in a press release.

The introduction of price caps will reduce data roaming prices for consumers by at least a third of the current average data roaming price, the Commission said.
