Indian start-up Byju’s seeks to reassure workers after office raid

Byju’s, India’s most valuable startup, sought to reassure its employees and partners after a weekend raid on the education company’s offices by the agency investigating money laundering money in the country.

Officials from the Enforcement Directorate searched the offices of the Bangalore-based startup and seized documents and digital data, the agency said in a post on Twitter. The investigation is being conducted under the Foreign Exchange Management Act, he said.
