● Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and US Secretary of State Antony Blinken held a telephone conversation. The head of the State Department praised the desire of the Azerbaijani president to conclude a lasting and dignified peace agreement with Yerevan. He spoke about the strong relations between Washington and Baku, highlighted recent problems in these relations and also spoke about opportunities to strengthen cooperation.

● Automobile production increased in Azerbaijan. Between January and October, 2,376 passenger cars were produced, 45.4 percent more than a year earlier, the National Statistics Committee reported.

● Three people were injured in Baku due to strong winds.

● Measles has spread among students at Azerbaijan Technical University in Baku. Eight people were hospitalized.
