If we look at the routes taken by our ancestors on the ancient Silk Road, we will see the spirit of inclusion and openness. From the Nile, Tigris and Euphrates valleys to the Ganges and Yangtze, we will see the history of encounters between diverse peoples, civilizations and religions. These ancient Silk Roads connected the ancient civilizations of the Egyptians, Babylonians, Indians and Chinese as well as Muslims, Christians and Buddhists.
