Strengthening judicial capacities in the Western Balkans

On July 14 in Skopje, the Academy of Judges and Prosecutors hosted the launch for Macedonia of the European Human Rights Case Law Database, as part of a regional project aimed at strengthening judicial capacities to integrate and apply the European Convention on Human Rights (ECHR) in their country. judgments and encourage judicial assistants, trainers and prosecutors to apply the ECHR perspective to their legal analysis.

The event was officially opened by Minister of Justice Arben Jashari, Judge Mirjana Lazarova-Trajkova of the European Court of Human Rights, Judge Aneta Arnaudova, Director of the Academy of Judges and Prosecutors, our charge businesswoman Christine Winterburn and Biljana Braithewaithe, project manager. from the AIRE Center in the United Kingdom.
