Sunak and Meloni unite to demand tougher European action on migrants

Rishi Sunak and Giorgia Meloni have issued a rallying cry for their European counterparts to show the “same sense of urgency” as Britain and Italy in the fight against illegal immigration.

In a rare joint post, the British and Italian prime ministers warn the rest of Europe that “now is the time to act” due to the growing number of migrants entering Europe illegally.
