Ten Turkish high schools ready to welcome students from the Balkans

Students from seven Balkan countries who have completed their primary education will be offered the opportunity to continue their studies in 10 international high schools located in seven cities in Turkey.

According to information released by Anadolu Agency (AA) on Friday, students from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Serbia, Kosovo, North Macedonia, Albania and Bulgaria will be accommodated and accommodated. scholarship opportunities in 10 international vocational and technical high schools in Anatolia, Turkey, within the framework of a protocol signed between the Ministry of National Education (MEB) and the Presidency of Turks Abroad and Associated Communities (YTB).

Faruk Berat Akçeşme, educational advisor in Sarajevo, the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina, emphasized, in an interview with AA, that within the framework of this program set for the 2023-2024 academic year, students from the Balkan countries will will be offered education and the above-mentioned opportunities and facilities in certain countries. of 10 schools in Ankara, Balıkesir, Bursa, Istanbul, Konya, Antalya and Ordu.

Akçeşme also noted that during their stay, students will benefit from general health insurance and have the opportunity to participate in free academic courses as well as a free ticket to and from Turkey after graduation.

Stating that applications from non-Turkish citizens will be accepted through the YTB website until May 26, Akçeşme said that the written entrance exam will be held on June 4, while the interview will be held from 4 to 9 June.

The results, however, are expected to be announced on June 12, while departure and placement in schools in Turkey will begin between September 11 and 15, he noted.
