The war on Gaza targets Palestinian identity…

The current events are the result of the accumulation of long decades of colonialism, occupation and oppression, especially since 2008. This period saw thousands of victims and injuries among our people who were locked in the open prison of Gaza, similar to the old Gaza prison. Nazi ghettos in Europe. These crimes were carried out by Israeli forces, in addition to Israel’s continued destruction.اضافة اعلان

Successive attacks took place against the Gaza Strip and its infrastructure, which was rebuilt several times.

Our current Palestinian national reality is not limited to Gaza alone; it extends to all towns and camps in the occupied territory. Every Palestinian in Palestine has witnessed the barbaric invasion and aggression of the occupier and its settlers. These daily massacres have continued at the rate of one death per day for six months, alongside the atrocities committed in Huwwara and elsewhere. These events, along with what is currently happening in Gaza, have shaped our current situation.

There is a superimposed scene of the miracle of resistance among our Palestinian people in Gaza, the West Bank and occupied Jerusalem. This resistance gave new hope to our people in their ability to defeat the Israeli occupier, especially after the events of October 7, which showed heroism against Israeli soldiers and Israeli settlers.

The Palestinian project of national liberation, whose objective is to defeat the colonial project and to work to bring to fruition all the conditions and all the factors necessary for this victory, involves employing all capacities to achieve this. This requires us to address a set of current challenges at the Palestinian, Arab and international levels. These challenges must come down to the stability of the historic national political position and the understanding of today’s international changes that target American hegemony and observe the rise of new powers towards a more just world. However, the United States, for its part, to maintain its hegemony, wants to stir up numerous hotbeds of tensions and wars and connect them in a way that serves the interests of its military-industrial complexes. This is happening in light of the decline in the country’s economic situation and the imposed confrontation with China and Russia.

Achieving what we face in Palestine is a complex replacement colonialist project that represents an extension of the West’s colonial ambitions, established at the expense of the land’s original owners in 1948. It represents, in its multiple policies and transformations, a dimension of the new form of settler colonialism and the imperial ambitions of the West which have not ended, not only in our reality, but also in Africa, in Eastern Europe, in the Balkans, at sea of China and in their attempts in Latin America. This is happening despite their defeat by leftist forces. The practice of occupation and its multiple policies are based on the rule of erasure, abolition and exclusion of non-Jews, symbolically and effectively. Our Palestinian people and their stated goals are what the Israeli occupation strives to achieve through its policy of ethnic cleansing and the crime of the Nakba, which has continued since 1948. This is achieved through the ideology of racist Zionism of exclusion, with the silence of the West and even its cooperation in implementing this by protecting the occupying state from all responsibility and punishment.

I repeat here what was conveyed by the imprisoned leader Marwan Barghouti in his speech during the solidarity demonstration in Athens: “The foundation of Palestinian national identity is represented by the duality of resistance and liberation. its translations at the level of the overall Palestinian national identity and paves the way for sub-identities that can progress. This makes unity of choice, represented by resistance, and unity of purpose, represented by liberation, structural components of Palestinian identity. national identity.”

Therefore, consider the issues and events independently of all their various dimensions, which have been represented for decades from the crimes of ethnic cleansing to the actual practice of apartheid against our people throughout the historical earth of Palestine, is an error. This is particularly important to note because their project goes beyond the Gaza Strip, the West Bank and Jerusalem, as the borders of their renegade entity have exceeded those given in UN Resolution 181. Rather, their goals are “the Great Kingdom or Land of Israel.” according to their biblical and Zionist beliefs, extend beyond the dimensions of the map of Palestine. They cover areas wider than the geography of several countries in the Arab region and even part of Cyprus, as their governments of Netanyahu, Ben Gvir and Smotrich, and Gantz indicated today after joining the government of consensus on war and aggression. This is the project that they are pursuing today through normalization agreements with a certain number of Arab countries, under American directives, according to the vision of the new Middle East. This vision has not been excluded from their strategic plans for the region, which are primarily aimed at our national cause. They are repeating what they did in Latin America in the 1970s, in Greece, in Cyprus several decades ago and in the Balkans today. They aim to impose a reality true to them by striking national movements and their revolutionary heritage, intensifying settlements, annexing areas, Judaizing Jerusalem, besieging it with the apartheid wall and committing massacres. daily newspapers in the West Bank and Jerusalem. Furthermore, they are engaged in a barbaric aggression that targets our people with a quantity of bombs that exceeds all forms of weapons, including those prohibited internationally. So what is happening today is a holocaust in every sense of the word against our people in Gaza for trying to implement the transfer.

“The foundation of Palestinian national identity is represented by the duality of resistance and liberation. Each setback in one or both of these foundations finds its translation at the level of the overall Palestinian national identity and opens the path to sub-identities that can progress.” This makes the unity of choice, represented by resistance, and the unity of purpose, represented by liberation, structural components of Palestinian national identity. “

The definition of their colonial project presupposes the objective of defeating and dismantling it. They are neither a peace partner in the face of the decline of their societies towards the racist right despite their crisis, nor a neighbor seeking stability in the region. It is difficult to imagine reaching a political settlement with their rogue state in light of the existing racist Zionist colonial regime, which conflicts with its components, references, methodology, constants and interests represented by the global Zionist movement and its tools.

The Palestinian liberation struggle is an integral part of the global liberation struggle for freedom, justice, equality, human dignity and peace. Considering the Palestinian colonial regime as a mandate and pillar of international colonialism, it is natural that the Palestinian national liberation movement finds with it depth, alliance and solidarity in all regions of the world. This is particularly true for people, democratic forces and the forces of freedom and justice. This was expressed by the vast global solidarity movement and people’s protests in response to Israeli terrorism against our people. We also see this in the capitals of various countries, such as Greece, where popular solidarity with Palestine is evident, especially from progressive and left-wing forces in Europe. This solidarity is important, especially in light of right-wing governments that support the occupying state and justify its actions under the pretext of self-defense. This calls for a liberal Palestinian discourse and movement to foster the broadest, continued and growing international solidarity between our Palestinian people and the people of free countries and forces. Ending colonial rule in Palestine and the colonial hegemony of the West, with the United States at its head, must become a goal for all people and all forces who love freedom and justice, dignity and progress in this world. It is also a condition for global peace and security, particularly in our Middle East and Eastern Mediterranean regions.
