One person died in a Russian village near the border with Ukraine during a Ukrainian strike, the Kursk regional governor said on Saturday.
Governor Roman Starovoit said on Telegram that the village of Plekhovo “was shelled from Ukraine,” adding that “a 30-year-old man was killed after being injured by shrapnel.”
Starovoit said several houses were damaged in the attack on the village located a few kilometers from the border.
In recent months, a number of strikes have been launched from Ukrainian territory towards Russia.
