BRUSSELS – Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić said in Brussels, after the new round of Belgrade-Pristina dialogue under EU auspices, that Belgrade and Pristina have “essentially harmonized” the issue of missing persons and displaced persons as well as certain economic subjects, and opened “two new”, N1 reports.
“One of the new issues opened today is the Community of Serbian Municipalities (CSM) in Kosovo and mutual real estate and financial issues,” Vućić said after the high-level meeting with Kosovo Prime Minister Avdullah Hoti, the EU High Representative Josep Borrell and Miroslav Lajčák, EU Special Representative for the Belgrade-Pristina Dialogue.
“The most important and difficult questions are before us. We don’t agree on a number of them and it’s going to be complicated,” Vučić told reporters.
He promised that after the formation of the new government, those who participated in the negotiations with Pristina would inform Parliament.
The heads of the two expert teams, Marko Durić from Belgrade and Skender Hyseni from Pristina, will continue negotiations on the CSM on September 17, while the next high-level meeting is scheduled for September 28 in Brussels.
